ABOUT US
Encounter is a ministry based in the Greater Birmingham area. We are a small staff and community of volunteers who serve to walk with folks along their faith journey. Through teaching/spiritual direction, campus ministry, prison ministry, and humanitarian missions we help those we serve come to deeper faith and freedom on adventure with God. We believe in the God spoken of in the Bible, that Jesus is His Son, and that His Holy Spirit is alive and well today. We work across denominational, racial, and social lines.
